This summer I attended a Leaders in Training program with a Type 1 Diabetes camp for two weeks. This was a wonderful learning experience for me. I learned to grow as a person, in a group setting, and most importantly, in my work with these T1D kids. I felt very fortunate to be accepted into this program, loved working with the kids, and plan to go back this coming year.
