BEST WORKS

mindfulness mystery.jpg

This is the first of my best works in high school.

This is my 11th grade science fair project that won first place at the Alameda county science fair. My project studied the effects of mindfulness exercises on mood in teenage test subjects and discovered that the subjects' moods were raised over the course of the study, but that this included the control group. My conclusion was that the awareness of one's mood is more helpful to the raising of said mood than any specific mindfulness practices.

This is the second of my best works in high school.

This is my 11th grade psychology final paper on the history of matriarchies and patriarchies throughout histories and the inherent differences between males and females on a political level. This five page paper studies societies in modern times all the way back to before traditional governments existed in order to discover the common threads that held true in all societies and study the inherent nature of men and women and how they design their societies.

This is the third of my best works in high school.

This is my 10th grade social studies final paper which is an in-depth analysis of the nutritional problems in the U.S. and their effects on the American public. This five page paper studies fast foods, food deserts, dietary standards, efforts to reverse malnutrition, social stigma, and so much more. However, the most import thing the essay highlights is how pervasive the malnutrition epidemic is in the U.S. and that research is very important.
